CGA 2018 Annual Meeting

Optional Activities

Pre-registration is required and applicable fees must be paid at time of registration. Activities are priced per person as noted. Participation may be limited; sign up early to ensure your place. Space for activities may be available on-site, however, it is not guaranteed.

As you complete your registration, please indicate the optional activities you or your spouse plan to attend.

Sunday, April 22

5K Fun Run/Walk
9:00 AM

Jumpstart your day with a 5K Fun Run/Walk! The event starts at the hotel and runs through the surrounding neighborhood. The route will be clearly marked.

Price: $0 per person; includes a map of the course and water.

Annual Golf Outing
11:00 AM: one-hour golf clinic at the driving range
12:00 PM: buffet lunch in the Marquee Tent
1:00 PM: shotgun start on the Palmer Course

PalmerThe Resort will provide transportation from the Pro Shop to the Driving Range beginning at 10:45 am and will return the group to the Marquee Tent for lunch.

Please plan to arrive at the Pro Shop for check-in at least 30 minutes prior to start.

The Palmer Course is 6,243 yards, par 71. Click here for more information on the course.

An average score or handicap must be included on the registration form for each golfer. All foursomes will be assigned by CGA. Prizes will be awarded to each member of the first and second place teams, and winners of two Closest to the Pin and one Most Accurate Drive contests.

Appropriate attire is appreciated on the golf course and practice areas. Golf shirts and shorts are the norm. Tee shirts are allowed provided there are no rips or tears. Soft spikes are allowed, as are tennis shoes. Metal spikes are not allowed.

Everyone must have a set of clubs. Rental clubs are available at a cost of $45, plus tax. Please check the appropriate boxes on the registration form in order for CGA to send in your rental request. You are responsible for rental charges, which must be paid at the Pro Shop prior to play. Shoe rental is complimentary

Price: $135 per person; covers greens fee and cart fees, range balls, bottled water, and a buffet lunch in the Marquee tent.

Members, significant others, and guests are welcome to register, however, space is limited.

The pro shop is located in the resort. The front desk staff and bellmen will help direct you.

More information on game play and rules will be sent out to registered players prior to the outing. USGA Rules of Golf govern all play.

Annual Breakfast for Significant Others
8:30 AM

Reconnect with friends and make new ones.

The breakfast is complimentary and open to registered significant others only.


A Night in Old Havana! hosted by the Western Group
7:00 PM

Grab your sundresses and sandals, your guayabera shirt and Fedora, and celebrate Cuban Style! Network and relax, cha-cha the night away, or break the casino bank. Enjoy a buffet dinner with traditional Cuban fare. Prizes will be awarded!

This event is complimentary and open to all registered attendees.

Nightcap Party, hosted by Taylor-Wharton
immediately following the Safety Awards Banquet

The Nightcap Party has been an Annual Meeting tradition for many years. The event follows the Safety Awards Banquet and caps off the evening with networking and dessert.

This event is complimentary and open to all registered attendees.
