We invite you to join us for the Compressed Gas Association’s 2019 CGA Safety and Reliability of Industrial Gases, Equipment, and Facilities Seminar, to be held October 16 – 17, 2019 at the Hollywood Beach Marriott in Hollywood, Florida. This seminar is open to CGA members and members of affiliated associations.

Registration Fees

Registration fees are per person, in U.S. dollars. The early registration fee applies for all registrations received through September 23, 2019; all registrations received on or after September 24 will be charged the regular registration fee.

Payment must accompany your registration. Registrations will not be processed or confirmed until payment is received. Only individuals who have received a confirmation may attend the seminar.

Registration includes meals (breakfasts, breaks, lunch, and reception) as indicated in the meeting schedule.

How to Register

CGA Members: Log into the CGA member portal and click the registration link in the announcements section of your Personal Page.  Online registration must be paid in full by credit card at time of registration. Alternatively, you may use the PDF registration form provided for affiliated association members below.

For payment by check or wire transfer, please print and complete the registration form (PDF). Check must be made payable to Compressed Gas Association in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Checks drawn on a non-U.S. bank will not be accepted.

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

A written cancellation is required. All registration cancellations, changes, and requests for refunds must be submitted in writing and received by CGA on or before October 1, 2019. Refunds are subject to a $50 (USD) processing fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after the deadline for any reason. Refunds are processed after the seminar.

You may transfer your full registration to another employee of your organization, provided you notify CGA in writing. Substitutes are only allowed for the full seminar and are not allowed on a daily basis.

Reserve Your Room: CGA Safety & Reliability of Industrial Gases, Equipment, & Facilities Seminar Reservations

The CGA group rate is $169.00 (USD) single or double occupancy, per traditional room, per night, plus applicable taxes (currently 13%, subject to change). The hotel will honor the CGA rate three days before and after the meeting dates, subject to room availability at the time of reservation.

The CGA group rate includes the following:

  • Complimentary basic wireless internet in guest rooms
  • Complimentary basic wireless internet in meeting room
  • Waived daily destination amenity fee
  • Discounted parking rates of $10/day for self-parking and $14/day for valet parking

Deadline Extended: Hotel Reservations must be received on or before September 27, 2019, to receive the CGA rate.

Reservation requests received after this date will be accepted on a space-available basis and at prevailing room rates.

Please Note: CGA has contracted with the meeting hotel to set aside a block of rooms at this rate for meeting registrants. CGA is contractually obligated to fill this room block and may be exposed to significant financial liability should our members fail to support this room block.

Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card or accompanied by a deposit equal to the first night’s room and taxes. Individual reservations must be cancelled 72 hours in advance in order to avoid a one night room and tax charge.

Ground Transportation

The Marriott Hollywood Beach Hotel is located just five miles from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The hotel does not provide an airport shuttle.

Ground Transportation Booths are located in each terminal on the Lower Level. Customer Service Coordinators staff these Information Booths. They will assist FLL Airport patrons with ground transportation questions. Booths will be staffed during the periods of significant inbound arriving flights. Each booth has local brochures to assist travelers with their ground transportation needs.

Rental Cars

What to Wear

The dress code for CGA meetings is business casual; coat and tie are optional. Meetings and events will be in air-conditioned meeting space. It is recommended that you bring a jacket or sweater.
