Our industry has played a critical role in the global economy’s growth and innovation for well over a century. This has only been made more visible during the last several years as we played an important part in the response to the pandemic and addressed the availability of essential gas products.

As an association with more than 140 companies across the country and around the world, we are entering 2023 strong with a renewed dedication to our mission of fostering the ever improving safe, secure, and environmentally responsible manufacture, transportation, storage, handling, and disposal of gases and associated products.

CGA accomplished major milestones and published essential resources and standards in 2022 including:

• Delaying the Federal Helium Reserve Auction.
• Clarifying Carbon Dioxide Supply Tightness to media, policy makers, and industry.
• Making major strides in CGA Medical Gas Regulations.
• Launching our Hydrogen Safety Campaign, Safety is Step One.
