The Compressed Gas Association’s (CGA) annual safety awards program recognizes the dedication to safety exhibited by member companies and individuals. We are now accepting nominations/submissions for the following awards:

Charles H. Glasier Award

For recognition of an individual’s safety leadership in the industrial gas industry (submission deadline: Friday, Dec 6, 2024)

Nominations for CGA’s Charles H. Glasier award may be submitted by an individual, a CGA committee, or a member company and should be sent to Krista Lee at klee@cganet.com.

Environmental Recognition Program Awards

For activities and/or projects meeting identified “environmental excellence” criteria (submission deadline: Friday, January 24, 2025)

Environmental Recognition Program

Nominations for CGA’s Environmental Recognition Program should be sent to Mikaela Zallen at mzallen@cganet.com. If a member company has a representative on CGA’s Environmental Committee, that individual must submit their company’s project(s) for consideration. If a member company has no representation on the Environmental Committee, any employee may submit a project (or projects) for consideration.

Fleet Safety Excellence Awards

For outstanding safety performance among the industry’s bulk and cylinder truck delivery fleets (submission deadline: Friday, January 31, 2025)

Leonard Parker Pool Safety Awards

For a company’s safety in leadership and improving safety performance (submission deadline: Friday January 31, 2025)

Safe Facility Performance Awards

Recognizing U.S. and Canadian facilities of participating Association member companies that have maintained an incident-free safety performance record for either a period of consecutive worked hours or years. All CGA member companies may apply for the Safe Facility Performance Awards (submission deadline: Friday, January 31, 2025). * NOTE: Members who have previously submitted facilities for recognition will receive a master company list. This list must be updated and submitted by the deadline noted above.

Submissions for CGA’s Fleet Safety Excellence Awards, Leonard Parker Pool Safety Awards, and Safe Facility Performance Awards should be submitted by each member company’s CGA Official Representative or their designee to Krista Lee at klee@cganet.com.
