A New Chapter in Standards Development
The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) is pleased to welcome Chenai Maguwah to our team as the new Standards and Committees Administrator. Chenai brings a wealth of experience and a passion for standards development, making her a valuable addition to our organization.
From Translation to Standards Development
Chenai’s career began in New York City, where she served as a project coordinator for TransPerfect Translations. Here, she managed language translation projects for medical and technical documents, laying the groundwork for her future in standards development. This role led her to an opportunity at the Project Management Institute in Newtown Square, PA, where she worked as a standards project specialist.
A Path Paved by Expertise and Dedication
The COVID-19 pandemic brought Chenai to the Washington, DC area, where she joined the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation. In this role, she served as a standards staff liaison for Medical Device Software Standards Working Groups. Her extensive experience in these positions prepared her well for her new role at CGA, where she aims to drive the progression of safety standards within the industry.
A Collaborative Spirit
Chenai is energized by working in teams and values the collaboration and sharing of ideas that come with it. She was drawn to CGA by the collegial energy of the organization and is committed to contributing by being open, honest, and supportive of her colleagues.
A Message of Gratitude
