The Compressed Gas Association’s leading position in industrial, medical, and food gas safety is supported by the efforts of our technical committees. Committee members work tirelessly to develop and maintain publications, respond to issues impacting the industry, review other organizations’ work, communicate safety information, and more.

We maintain our standing as a credible safety organization due to these efforts, which ensure technical accuracy, superior content, and comprehensive coverage of issues important to a complete safety agenda.

The 2022 CGA Committee Leadership Seminar provides comprehensive training on the operation of our technical committees, including an overview of the responsibilities of technical committee chairs.

Topics will focus on committee guidelines, work processes, Chair and Vice Chair responsibilities, staff roles, CGA’s new initiatives, and antitrust compliance. This seminar will also include breakout discussions on leadership, meeting management, and engaging new participants in committee work.

Who Should Participate?

The 2022 CGA Committee Leadership Seminar is free to all CGA members. Attendance is mandatory for all technical committee chairs and vice chairs who have not attended this event or completed CGA’s Antitrust Compliance Training since 2020.

This event is also open to any CGA member who would like to gain a better understanding of the Association’s procedures and processes.

Please note that the format for the 2022 CGA Committee Leadership Seminar has been changed to an all virtual format.
