John Willenbrock is one of CGA’s Technical Manager’s, joining CGA staff in 2013 and primarily working with the US and Canadian committees focusing on standards development and regulatory interaction for medical, food and beverage gases and equipment. These operations are regulated in the US and Canada by FDA and Health Canada respectively, as well as associated state and provincial agencies.

John, who holds a BS degree in Chemistry from Bucknell University, began work in the industry in 1981, joining CGA and representing BOC Gases and their predecessor companies in his position as Regional and then National QA Manager for BOC’s medical and food gas operations.

In 1994, John formed his own consulting firm, GasRegsInc assisting medical gas and homecare companies, many of whom were CGA members, with their regulatory and QA activities.  John continued his work with CGA and FDA both directly and indirectly for clients who were CGA members.

John currently lives with his wife of almost 50 years in Jamestown, NC, a small town between Greensboro and High Point, NC, driving that scenic stretch of interstate 85 and 95 to attend meetings in McLean as needed.
