The new Chair, Nelson C. Moreira, has been a member of the CGA Board for the past five years, and was most recently Maione’s Vice Chair. Moreira has a wealth of experience in the industry and is known for his ability to bring people together to achieve common goals.

“I am excited to take on this new role and work with the Board to continue moving CGA forward,” said Moreira. “I am grateful to Francesco for his leadership and guidance, and I look forward to building on the foundation he has laid, especially when it comes to our work in hydrogen and growing our young leaders.”

With the leadership of Nelson Moreira and the continued support of Francesco Maione, CGA is poised for a bright future,” said CGA President and CEO, Rich Gottwald.

Moreira will be joined by Jay Worley, who will take up the Vice Chair role. Jay is Chief Operating Officer at Airgas, an Air Liquide company. Worley began his career with Airgas in 1993 and has served in many roles including most recently as president – West Division.
