Dane Mallon joined the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) in September 2024 as a Standards & Committees Administrator. He supports several key CGA committees, including Hazard Communication, Safety and Health, Distribution and Fleet Safety, and Government Affairs, helping to advance CGA’s mission of promoting safe, secure, and environmentally responsible practices across the compressed gas industry.

Before joining CGA, Dane served on Capitol Hill in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he worked on legislative issues spanning transportation, healthcare, defense, and appropriations. Earlier in his career, he worked in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Information Policy, which oversees government-wide compliance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). In that role, Dane handled congressional and policy issues and managed requests for records from the Offices of the Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General, Associate Attorney General, and other senior leadership offices at the Department of Justice.
