Standards and Committees Administrator

Teshia Payne is a Standards & Committees Administrator for the Compressed Gas Association (CGA). She assumed this role in early April 2025, bringing more than 20 years of technical, grant, and proposal writing to the role. She is responsible for communicating with committee members, instituting procedure development, and providing guidance on standards development.

Before CGA, she worked closely with large and small government contracting firms and organizations within the trade association space writing and developing standards documentation, managing standards development projects, and editing and maintaining standards and publications throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

She earned her B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration on management from Strayer University in Alexandria, VA and self-published her first book in August 2021. She currently resides in Woodbridge, VA.
