The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) is at the forefront of safety, championing the development and implementation of industry safety standards for more than 110 years. Through a robust committee system of member volunteers, we produce technical guidelines, safety standards, and training resources. We also collaborate closely with government agencies to promote compliance with responsible regulations and standards.

The member companies of CGA supply gases and cryogenic liquids that are used throughout society in many of our most critical industries – from medical and food applications – to semiconductor manufacturing and new clean energy sources. Our publications outline best practices for the production, transportation, storage and use of these products. Our work ensures that our members thrive safely and produce products that the world depends on.
