The Compressed Gas Association’s annual Safety Awards honor exceptional leadership, performance, and innovation in safety across our industry. Submissions are now open for recognition to be presented at the 2026 Annual Meeting (CGA26).
This year, CGA has introduced a new, easier process that allows members to access all award materials directly through the portal. To participate, visit the Awards section in the Member Portal. From your personal page, click Awards to review eligibility criteria, submission instructions, and past recipients, and to download any required forms.
As part of our pilot program to bring submissions into the portal, the Leonard Parker Pool Safety Awards are now open for direct online submission, while all other awards include downloadable forms and instructions for submission.
The Charles H. Glasier Award recognizes an individual’s leadership in promoting safety within the industrial gas industry. Submissions for this award are due by Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
The Environmental Recognition Program Awards celebrate activities and projects that meet CGA’s “environmental excellence” criteria. Submissions are due by Friday, January 23, 2026.
The Fleet Safety Excellence Awards honor companies demonstrating outstanding safety performance among their bulk and cylinder truck delivery fleets. Submissions must be received by Friday, January 30, 2026.
The Leonard Parker Pool Safety Awards recognize company leadership and measurable improvement in safety performance. Submissions are due by Friday, January 30, 2026. Under the new portal system, the company’s official representative, member representative, or Board member may submit the company’s data online.
The Safe Facility Performance Awards recognize U.S. and Canadian facilities that have maintained incident-free safety performance for defined periods, measured by consecutive worked hours or years. All CGA member companies are eligible to apply. Submissions are due by Friday, January 30, 2026.
* Companies that have previously submitted facilities for recognition will receive their current facility list, which must be reviewed, updated, and resubmitted by the deadline. Please include any new facilities or indicate those that have achieved a higher award level.
