CGA Announces Promotion of Kristy Mastromichalis to Director, Standards Programs

CGA is pleased to announce the promotion of Kristy Mastromichalis to Director, Standards Programs.

In this role, Kristy provides strategic oversight of CGA’s national and international standards development activities, supports the work of CGA’s technical committees and the member led Standards Council. She oversees standards administration and project management functions, ensures compliance with accredited standards body requirements, and leads initiatives to enhance the effectiveness, agility, and quality of CGA’s standards programs. Kristy also serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and related subcommittees, supporting CGA’s governance framework and leadership alignment.

Kristy has been with CGA since 2011 and brings more than a decade of experience supporting standards development at both the national and international levels. During her tenure, she has served as the manager of numerous CGA technical committees, administered CGA’s national standards program for many years, and acted as U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) Administrator for multiple ISO technical committees. She also served as the committee manager for ISO/TC 58/SC 4 and is actively engaged in standards leadership through her participation in the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Society for Standardization Professionals (SES).
