On October 18-19, 2022, our longest running seminar – first held in 1962 – returns as an in-person event hosted by CGA in McLean, Virginia.
Since CGA’s founding in 1913, it has been our mission to promote ever improving safe, secure, and environmentally responsible manufacture, transportation, storage, transfilling, and disposal of industrial, medical, and food gases and their containers. Consistent with that mission, CGA is proud to present the 2022 Safety & Reliability of Industrial Gases, Equipment, and Facilities Seminar.
Open to CGA members and members of affiliated associations, this seminar focuses on improving the safe operation of air separation facilities and processes. Industry experts will present, sharing insights on a range of topics. See the topics listed in the Event Schedule.

Registration is now open for the 2022 CGA Safety and Reliability of Industrial Gases, Equipment, and Facilities Seminar.
This seminar focuses on improving the safe operation of air separation facilities and processes, presented by industry experts from around the world.

Registration Fees
Registration fees are per person, in U.S. dollars. The early registration fee for attendees applies for all registrations received through September 20, 2022; all registrations received on or after this date will be charged the regular registration fee.

Payment must accompany your registration. Registrations will not be processed or confirmed until payment is received. Only individuals who have received a confirmation may participate in the seminar.

Please note that early in the online registration process, you will be asked to indicate whether you are registering as a CGA member or a member of an affiliated association. Registrants must agree to CGA’s Policy for In-Person Meetings (as of 27 Jul 2022) and the Event Attendee Waiver And Release Regarding COVID-19 to attend in-person.
If paying by credit card, registration fees must be paid online, in full, at time of registration.
Registrants may also opt to pay registration fees by wire transfer. If you wish to pay by wire transfer, please first complete your full registration using our online system, Cvent, then indicate that you wish to pay by wire transfer. Once you have completed your registration, you will be given the opportunity to print your receipt.
To pay by wire transfer, contact CGA for instructions.
Cancellation/Substitution Policy
All registration cancellations, changes, and requests for refunds must be submitted to Jana Hollis using the form below by October 4, 2022. Refunds are subject to a $50 (USD) processing fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after the deadline for any reason. Refunds are processed after the seminar.
Substitutions must be submitted in writing to Jana Hollis before October 4, 2022 (use the form below to send Jana an email). You may transfer your full registration to another employee of your organization, provided you notify CGA in writing in advance. Substitutions are only allowed for the full seminar and are not allowed on a daily basis.

Located within a half-mile of Tysons Corner Center, Tysons Galleria, and direct metro links to Washington DC, the DoubleTree by Hilton McLean Tysons is convenient to both Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD; 13 miles) and Reagan National Airport (DCA; 15 miles, metro access available). It is also located less than a mile from the CGA office.
The CGA group rate is $179.00 single or double, and is subject to applicable taxes, currently approximately 13%, subject to change. The CGA group rate includes discounted self parking, basic internet access in all guest rooms, and group rate available three days pre/post seminar.
Hotel Reservations due Friday, September 20, 2022 to receive the CGA rate.
Reservations received after this date will be accepted on a space-available basis and are subject to prevailing room rates.

When you call, be sure to reference Group Code “SFI” to receive the Compressed Gas Association group rate.
Please Note: Any requests for special room arrangements must be made at the time of reservation.
Reservations can be held until 6pm on the check-in day, or guaranteed with a credit card for late arrival. Free cancellation before 6:00 PM local hotel time on 17 Oct 2022.
A $50 early checkout fee will be assessed to any guest who departs prior to the date confirmed at check-in. The fee will be automatically posted to the guest folio, on or after departure. This fee will only be waived if notice provided at or prior to guest’s check-in.
Please Note: CGA has contracted with the meeting hotel to set aside a block of rooms at this rate for meeting registrants. The Association is contractually obligated to fill this room block and may be exposed to significant financial liability should our members fail to support this room block. We appreciate members choosing to stay at the Seminar host hotel. CGA cannot guarantee that rooms will be available after the deadline or once the room block is full.

The dress code for CGA meetings is smart/business casual, coat and tie are optional.
