American National Standards Program

CGA has been a member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) since 1970 and is an ANSI-accredited standards developer. CGA develops American National Standards (ANS) in accordance with ANSI’s Essential Requirements. Participation in the development of a CGA ANS is open to all persons who are directly and materially affected by the proposed standard. CGA Consensus Body

Future proposed change cutoff date: March 31, 2026.

Future proposed change cutoff date: December 2, 2026

Future PC (Proposed Change) cutoff date is February 26, 2024.

Status: The PC cutoff date for CGA M-1 has passed. The M-1 consensus body is scheduled to meet to resolve proposed changes. The consensus body has resolved 56 out of 70 total proposed changes. If the consensus body is able to complete resolution of the remaining PCs during this meeting, the consensus body will need to vote on the publication in its entirety.
