American National Standards Program
CGA has been a member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) since 1970 and is an ANSI-accredited standards developer. CGA develops American National Standards (ANS) in accordance with ANSI’s Essential Requirements. Participation in the development of a CGA ANS is open to all persons who are directly and materially affected by the proposed standard. - User: Industrial customers and others who use hydrogen in its varied applications
- Equipment supplier: Manufacturers of equipment used in hydrogen storage and dispensing
- General interest: DOE, universities, national laboratories
- Other: Standards development organizations such as NFPA and ICC
