American National Standards Program

CGA has been a member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) since 1970 and is an ANSI-accredited standards developer. CGA develops American National Standards (ANS) in accordance with ANSI’s Essential Requirements. Participation in the development of a CGA ANS is open to all persons who are directly and materially affected by the proposed standard.
