All Remaining CGA Events in 2020 Will Transition to Online Format

June 12, 2020

After carefully monitoring the developments of COVID-19 in recent weeks, as businesses in the United States, Canada, and the rest of the world cautiously take steps to reopen, we have decided to transition all of CGA’s meetings, seminars, committee meetings, and other in-person events for the remainder of 2020 into an online format.

We do this first and foremost out of an abundance of caution, to protect the health and well-being of our members and staff. Secondly, we recognize that as a result of this pandemic, many of our member companies will be responding to shifting business challenges and demands for the foreseeable future. We are committed to working with you to make the standards development process within the Compressed Gas Association as nimble and flexible as possible.

In the near future, we will publish an online event and committee meeting schedule, with full details about the transition to a virtual meeting format.

“I want to personally thank all our member company volunteers for your dedication, hard work, and unflagging commitment to developing…safety standards of the highest order for our industry. Despite significant challenges, CGA’s work has continued at a brisk pace…”

In the meantime, I want to personally thank all our member company volunteers for your dedication, hard work, and unflagging commitment to developing – in close cooperation with CGA staff – safety standards of the highest order for our industry. Despite significant challenges, CGA’s work has continued at a brisk pace throughout the spring, and I’m confident will continue throughout these unprecedented times.

We look forward to personally welcoming you to in-person meetings in the future, once the risks of this pandemic have abated.
