2023 Year in Review

In 2023, the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) celebrated its 110th anniversary with a strong emphasis on safety, major projects, and collaboration within the industry. Significant achievements were made, including advancements in safety standards, educational initiatives, and the launch of special projects like the Safe Hydrogen Project and the CO2 Solutions Coalition.

CGA hosted various events throughout the year, such as the CGA23 Annual Meeting and the Young and Emerging Professionals Summit. Notable efforts included advocating for the delay in the sale of the Federal Helium Reserve and launching the National Safety Month campaign.

Updates to CGA’s standards and guidelines were also made, with new publications and safety posters being introduced. Looking ahead, CGA aims to further enhance its standards program, engage members, increase agility, and expand advocacy efforts.

Special thanks are extended to our members, partners, and staff for their continued support and dedication in leading the industry safely.
